Four New Hubs opening in the South

We are delighted to announce that we will be opening hubs in Reading, East Sussex, Brighton and Eastleigh in winter flurry of Southern England mother maker activity!

Liz Allum (Writer, Producer, Mother), Cassie Friend (Theatre Maker, Teacher, Mother), Kate Powell (Designer, Maker, Upholsterer, Mother) and Lucy Hobbs (Artist, Producer, Mother) are opening MWM Reading at South Street Arts Centre on the 21st January:

We are so excited to create a space for creative artists of all genres who also identify as mothers to meet and share experiences of both mothering and making, and how we can all navigate these dual roles together!

On the 30th January, Matilda Leyser, founder of Mothers Who Make will open MWM East Sussex at Peredur Eurythmy, East Grinstead. Having moved to East Sussex at the end of last year, Matilda has been missing running a local hub and is looking forward to connecting to new mother makers:

How to carry our creative selves and our children, our work of mothering and of making, is the focus of this group. If you are a mother and a maker, and if you wonder how to do both these things with fullness, I would love you to come.

The on the 6th February we relaunch MWM Brighton with new mother maker coordinator Catherine Ireton (Performance Artist and Mother) working with new partner venue Theatre Royal Brighton, and MWM Eastleigh with Sarah Shepherd (Theatre Maker, Mother) at The Point.

The first meeting will be facilitated by Matilda Leyser or Zoe Gardner (MWM North London).
