ABOUT US

M/Others Who Make is a growing international initiative aimed at supporting women and non-binary people who are carers and artists - professional and/or passionate – writers, painters, actors, dancers, musicians, film-makers….every kind of maker is welcomed, and every kind of m/other and carer.

We understand the varied caring responsibilities we may hold, and value the often undervalued multiplicity of our stories,  - all the brilliance, all the struggle.. Our approach allows women and non binary people flexibility in how they connect, and we also cater to the unique needs of different communities. Now more than ever, it is important to flourish together and be intentional in our creative journey.

We are not a campaign group. We are a peer-support movement but we believe that simply by our presence and our practices within the cultural landscape we can help to effect change.
