The Artist Mother Archive- A Room of One’s Own:
Miriam Nabarro records the often silent, uncelebrated stories of artist mothers and mother artists of all kinds. As part of the Mothers Who Make 2018 artist commissions, Miriam captured portraits and audio interviews with the Mother Artists. During the interviews, Miriam hears about creativity, resilience and the relationships, surprises and challenges of making and mothering children of all ages and stages. In a future exhibition and podcast Miriam will highlight the intergenerational knowledge and wisdom that as yet has had no place to be gathered.
