Peer Support Session: Carers of every kind
Sunday 21st September, 2-4pm
Our online peer support meetings are run on the radical principle that you are welcomed in all of your roles - that you do not need to exclude any part of your identity to be there. We follow a simple peer-support talking circle structure, which we guide you through at the start of every meeting. The meetings are non-hierarchical and confidential. The facilitator acts as a guide to take you through it, but also shares as a fellow participant. You are encouraged to do whatever you need to do to best look after yourself, and anyone else in your care, while we are together. People always report coming away feeling connected, inspired, relieved, renewed. We hope you can join us.
We are running a series of peer support ’Specials’ but please note that ALL women and non-binary people are welcome at each session - you do not need to have a particular experience or identity in order to attend. If space is limited, then priority will be given to the particular identity named.
This peer support session welcomes carers of every kind, whether you are caring for a parent, a partner, a child, a sibling, a friend, or someone else.
